Verse of the Day
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” -Galatians 2:20

John 2:18-22 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? (19) Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. (20) Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? (21) But he spake of the temple of his body. (22) When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. .The Jews were always looking for a sign. They did not believe Jesus was the Messiah and they still do not believe in Him. When Jesus ran the merchants and money changers out of the temples, the Jews were almost mocking when they asked what Jesus was trying to show them. The answer is simple: Jesus wanted them to know that His house was not to be a store. But Jesus also said He could rebuild the temple in three days if it were destroyed. When Jesus said that, He was not talking about the actual building, He was talking about Himself. He knew that the Jews would try to destroy Him and He knew that He would come out of the grave after three days.
