Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Since I have been saved, I have always heard that we are to wait, asin be still, and see the Lord move. Certainly there are times when we should wait. However, there are times when waiting, as in being still,can lead to slothfulness.
